Discussion Question: what is a study you proved false?
In 2021, there was a trend- "rub a coal in peanut butter and freeze it and it'll become diamond!"
this already sounds stupid, but I went ahead and researched anyway.
evidence #1 : Pressure Requirements: Diamonds form at pressures of 4.5 to 6 gigapascals (GPa), which is approximately 45,000 to 60,000 times atmospheric pressure. Last I checked, freezers do not apply any pressure, at all.
evidence #2: there is no chemical reaction to the peanut butter and coal mixture. you're just making your charcoal dirty.
evidence #3 2,700 degrees Fahrenheit is the heat required to form a diamond. that is not humanly obtainable to any regular household, and ESPECIALLY not in a freezer.
now, while the coal to crystal has been debunked, there is an actually real experiment you can try at home, peanut butter to coal. You can use the peanut butter coal mixture as regular coal, but you can use it to demonstrate carbonization. for more information, go here: https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=6add239f0043bfd222e0e701213bff1b1a5f8bddf90f85c49ba9bb0feead3ee2JmltdHM9MTczNDA0ODAwMA&ptn=3&ver=2&hsh=4&fclid=2060fa3e-574a-65c6-2a11-ee625666645b&psq=how+does+peanut+butter+affect+coal&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cucmVzdG9ueWMuY29tL2RvZXMtdGhlLXBlYW51dC1idXR0ZXItY29hbC10aGluZy13b3JrLw&ntb=1
