Discussion Question: How did the environment shape the cultures and lifestyles of Native American societies in the West?
as they spread out across North, Central, and South America, they came up with different languages, made their own unique cultures, and adapted to all kinds of environments. whether they were in super rainy places, dry deserts, or freezing areas, these people showed some serious courage and resilience.
Discussion Question: What were the key characteristics of Native American cultures in the Southwest?
Sure thing! Here’s a quick rundown:
farming; They grew crops like corn, beans, and squash and used, in my opinion, really neat irrigation systems
Adobe houses; Built homes from adobe (clay bricks)
Pottery & weaving; Made detailed pottery and woven textiles with.. interesting patterns
cool homes; some, like the ancestral Puebloans, built homes in cliffs for defense.
trading; traded stuff like pretty dyes like turquoise and pottery with other tribes.
Spirituality; had strong connections to nature and spiritual practices with myths and ceremonies.
Discussion Question: What part of the scientific method do you find most challenging, and why?
observation. Im blind and never wear my glasses.
1: as they spread out different languages had developed as well as other culture's after they entered different climate's
2: they started agriculture and there for farming which ended up being the starting point for tons of other stuff because they weren't always hunting anymore which is why they were able to build better homes such as homes made of adobe (bricks)
3: making answerable questions is hard ether because there to farfetched or I don't have the needed recourses its rather hard
